Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Venezuela: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, travel and local apps in Venezuela showed diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

BipBip Rides experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 47K and peaking at 81K in early November. However, downloads decreased towards the end of the quarter, closing at approximately 23K. Active users showed an upward trend, especially in December, reaching over 442K before declining slightly to 300K by the year-end.

Airbnb maintained a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 21K and 35K. The app’s active user base remained robust, with a notable increase in December, reaching nearly 392K.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map saw a decrease in downloads early in the quarter, hitting a low of 9.8K in late November, but recovering to 17.6K by the end of December. Active users held steady, with slight increases in December, reaching close to 199K.

Ridery: Safety rides experienced relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 16K to 20K throughout the quarter. The app’s active users peaked at over 709K in early December before decreasing to approximately 480K by year-end.

Yummy Rides - Viaja y Conduce showed a declining trend in downloads, starting at 21K and closing at about 11K. Active users saw a peak at 748K in early December, followed by a decline to around 402K by the end of the quarter.
